Goodwill Columbus
Renovation of a regional center providing educational services and employment opportunities to adults with special needs. Included were an education wing with computer labs, classrooms, and offices; main lobby; and services wing with conference rooms, classrooms, an art studio and retail gallery, work spaces, and fitness center.

New two-story addition including building entrance used by all employees, lobby, security, cafeteria, dining area, and kitchen were constructed while sanitary pharmaceutical manufacturing and all other business operations continued within the same building. No interruptions occurred during construction.

Renovation of newsrooms on five floors—31,665 square feet—to create warm, productive working spaces for journalists and editors. Project completed in multiple phases to keep client’s daily newspaper business operational during renovations.

Columbus Health Department
Renovation of an historic landmark—the nation’s first State School for the Blind—into the new headquarters for the Columbus Health Department required transforming a six-story Victorian sandstone building, vacant for over ten years, into a spotless, efficient workspace for health professionals and administrators. Involved extensive structural upgrades to the existing building plus the addition of a new building and parking structure while preserving the historic architectural features.

Renovation of a formerly vacant 100-year-old building to create state-of-the-art offices and common spaces. The project was managed to maintain the integrity of the existing structure and to project the unique character and space of the building, inwardly and outwardly, to its surrounding city.

Office/tenant build-out for call/data center in an occupied building. Project included offices, conference rooms, IDF and Server rooms, employee café/lounge, training rooms, security check-in, generator, and UPS for computer back-up. Project earned LEED Silver Certification.
