Safety Certifications
Elford's onsite project leadership is one of the leading drivers of our safety success. By completing the OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training class, our onsite project leadership is fully trained and prepared to recognize, evaluate, and control safety hazards on job sites. Our experience and training, along with ongoing training from our Safety Department, provide our formula for success.
Elford has been invited to apply for the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program. In this employee-driven program, management, labor, and OSHA establish cooperative relationships at workplaces implementing a comprehensive safety and health management system. According to OSHA, "Approval into VPP is OSHA's official recognition of the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health." When we attain VPP status, Elford will be among the first major construction companies in central Ohio to be VPP-recognized.
